The Concepts program consists of the fundamental techniques of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with a main focus of the program is divided into the following areas:

  • Self Defense
  • Grappling

…and Basic BJJ techniques such as:

  • Takedowns
  • Submissions
  • and maintaining control of your opponent.

Classes will consist of intense warm up exercises, instruction of a basic technique and how to effectively apply the technique, and positional drilling. These classes are fully directed and supervised by a qualified instructor.

All beginners/white belts are required to attend our Concepts program until basic knowledge is retained and effectively demonstrated. Experienced students (blue belts and above) are also highly encouraged to attend these classes to renew and maintain their core technical knowledge.
